Every note in Warren can hold links to any other note. Follow one, and you land exactly where the thought continues — no folders to dig through, no search required.

Three ways to dig a passage

  1. Type [[ and start typing

    Warren looks through every note you've written and suggests matches as you type, so a link is usually two keystrokes away.

  2. Follow backlinks upward

    Open any note and Warren shows you every other note that links to it — including mentions you never explicitly linked.

  3. Zoom out to the passage map

    See your whole warren as a network. Clusters form naturally around the ideas you return to most.

Nothing is ever really lost

Because links live inside plain text files, they survive renames, moves, and even Warren itself. Open your notes in any text editor years from now and the connections are still right there, written as [[double brackets]].

Unlinked mentions are surfaced automatically too — if you type a note's title somewhere without linking it, Warren quietly points it out, so ideas that belong together don't drift apart.
